A survey by the Royal College of Nursing published last week reveals almosttwo-thirds of the 6,000 responding nurses feel that staffing levels are toolow. But Sally Storey, who is due to be replaced as AHHRM president by TracyMyhill at its annual conference in York tomorrow, is optimistic. She believesrecruitment drives such as Autumn Burst, the Improving Working Lives strategyto encourage more flexible working and the Staff Involvement initiative arehaving a positive effect.
